Espagne / Catalogne – TV3 déploie l’IPTV multiécrans avec Anévia

TV3, Spain’s Catalan public broadcasting channel, has selected Anevia to supply it with IPTV gateways for use within its broadcasting facilities over IP networks.
TV3 is the main Catalan-language TV channel owned by the Televisió de Catalunya (TVC) public broadcasting corporation. The company’s IPTV gateways receive live television broadcasts in DVB and analogue formats and then stream them over an IP network.
The regional channel chose IPTV gateways from Anevia—a creator of video streaming solutions and service infrastructure for live TV and video on demand (VOD)—to provide live broadcast feeds across its internal IP network and to its postproduction studios for content processing, redistribution, and broadcast monitoring. The system was configured and installed by Telindus Spain, a network system integrator with a team who specialises in delivering IPTV solutions. Finally the three-screen platform will deliver services across mobile phone, TV and PC including VOD, network personal video recorder (PVR), catch-up TV, start over, and pause TV.
« We have built a state of the art IP-based post-production service allowing us to ensure delivery of the high quality programming that our viewing public has come to expect, » said Lluis Marti, Head of IT Infrastructure at TV3. Source
