L’opérateur historique autralien Telstra annonce la disponibilité de vidéos en haute définition dans son offre BigPond TV sur le téléviseur LG. Elles le seront aussi le mois prochain depuis les 17 000 T-Box (Netbox HD Netgem) déjà vendues.Ben Kinealy responsable de l’IPTV chez Telstra dit : “We are adding more and more HD titles to our catalogue and down the track customers will be able to select at purchase whether they want to watch a movie in DVD-like quality or in high definition”.
